Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for telemetry patients, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and administering appropriate treatments.
• Utilize equipment such as GE telemetry monitors and Baxter IV pumps to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow unit policies, safety procedures, and adhere to dress code standards.
• Document patient data accurately in Meditech EMR system.
• Assist in procedures such as non-titrating cardiac drips and facilitate patient comfort and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in telemetry or med-surg units
• Familiarity with GE telemetry equipment and Meditech 5.6 EMR system
• Ability to work flexible, friendly, and adaptable personality traits
