Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using GE telemetry equipment
- Administer medications, including non-titrating cardiac drips, following physicians' orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments and care interventions in Meditech EMR
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- At least 2 years of recent telemetry or med-surg nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Baxter IV pumps
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
- Flexible and easy-going personality, able to adapt to unit policies and policies
