• Full-time, night shift, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical/surgical patients on a 12-hour night shift.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and update patient records accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow unit policies and procedures, including dress code (royal blue scrubs) and safety guidelines.
• Support patient education and assist with procedures as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent med/surg nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic medical records system.
• Prior experience working on surgical units or with surgical patients.
• Flexibility to float to other units such as ER or surgical areas, if needed.
