Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, including those with high acuity conditions such as ECMO, heart transplant, and CABG
- Monitor hemodynamics and support ventilated patients using advanced equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient status and interventions accurately using Meditech system
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to hospital protocols and standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, maintaining a respectful and compassionate environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses)
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including high-acuity units
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilated patient care, and post-CABG management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Meditech electronic medical record experience
- CVICU or advanced ICU experience
- Experience with ECMO and complex cardiac procedures
