Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care on a telemetry unit within a busy hospital environment.
- Monitor and interpret patient cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to arrhythmias.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure patient comfort and compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Customer service experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working on med-surg or telemetry units.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and on-call rotations.
