Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 nights per week (12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within a 23-hour observation unit inside a surgery center PACU.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff to ensure patient safety and effective treatment.
• Monitor a variety of patients across services including orthopedics, interventional radiology, and gastrointestinal scopes.
• Support nursing staff in maintaining high standards of care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with patient assessments, treatment plans, and documentation during shifts.
• Float within scope to other like units or sister facilities as needed, subject to facility needs and approval.

Required Qualifications

• Valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Willingness to work night shifts and cover diverse patient needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in observation or surgical recovery units.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work a block schedule upon manager approval.

Additional Notes

• No holiday, weekend, or on-call requirements.
• Local candidates preferred; eligible candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered with slight compensation adjustments.
• RTO must be approved at the time of submission, with a maximum of one shift off every two weeks.
• Must have active SC RN license or proof of application.
• Hurricane season may involve emergency response duties.
• The facility maintains a secured environment with overnight security.
• Travel compliance and documentation (SSN, license proof) are required prior to start.
