Registered Nurse Observation

Schedule / Job Type

• Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 23-hour observation unit within a surgery center.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR nurses to ensure safe and effective care.
• Monitor a diverse patient population including orthopedics, interventional radiology, and GI procedures.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative care, following established protocols.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Potential to float to similar units or sister facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in perioperative or observation nursing.
• Familiarity with orthopedic, IR, or GI procedures.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.
