Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a low-acuity ICU, floating between units as needed
- Work independently, often as the sole staffed nurse in the unit
- Manage patient monitoring, administer medications, and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with medical teams and follow established protocols
- Cover 6 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule
- Work overnight hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Required Qualifications
- Valid state nursing license; compact license accepted in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year ICU experience
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Ability to work independently in a low-acuity ICU environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience as a charge nurse on Med-Surg units is a plus but not mandatory
- Prior experience working autonomously in ICU settings
