- Full-time, Days, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit or Stepdown Unit.
- Float to various units as needed, potentially including other hospital campuses.
- Administer IV therapies and perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in acuity.
- Maintain compliance with all clinical and safety standards, including timely fingerprinting and credentialing requirements.
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio or compact state RN license in hand at time of submission.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Skilled in IV start and phlebotomy.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma hospital.
- Experience working across multiple hospital campuses.
- Familiarity with Ohio fingerprinting and credentialing processes.

Additional Notes
- Candidates must be aware of the urgency related to Ohio fingerprinting, which must be completed immediately upon signing contract.
- Travelers outside Ohio within driving distance must complete fingerprinting in Ohio; those at greater distances will receive a fingerprinting packet for urgent completion.
- RTO (Request for Time Off) must be built into the contract and submitted with application.
- References required: two (one managerial or leadership, e.g., supervisor, and one charge RN).
- All candidates must demonstrate responsiveness and cooperation with credentialing and credentialing deadlines; non-compliance may result in push or cancellation.
