• Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Monitor telemetry patients, ensuring accurate interpretation of telemetry data and patient safety
• Administer IVs, medications, and perform lab work while ensuring compliance with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and education
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Valid RN license (compact or state-specific) in hand at the time of submission
• BLS and IV certification required
• Ability to pass telemetry testing and some experience monitoring telemetry patients
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry units
• Strong clinical skills including labs, medication administration, and patient education
• Flexibility to float within units with similar or lower acuity levels

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately upon signing the contract; travel candidates outside Ohio may be mailed fingerprinting packets
• Candidates should have no upcoming vacations immediately following booking due to credentialing deadlines
• RTO requests must be included in the contract
• References: Two professional references required, including at least one managerial or supervisory reference
• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate
• Travel compliance deadline is Tuesday prior to start; responsiveness to credentialing process is essential
