Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
• Days shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Float to various Medical-Surgical, Intermediate Care (IMC), and Stepdown units as needed.
• Ensure staff and patient safety within a secure corrections environment.
• Manage patient care for individuals with active oncology diagnoses, surgical recoveries, COPD, sepsis, abnormal labs, pneumonia, and other non-oncology conditions.
• Provide medication administration, IV therapy, and facilitate patient monitoring with telemetry systems.
• Interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms, manage respiratory support equipment, and support multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license in hand at time of submission.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• EPIC charting experience is required; Oncology experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with medication systems such as Pyxis.
• Ability to interpret ABGs, manage respiratory equipment, and perform IV therapy.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology nursing experience.
• Experience working in a corrections facility or secure environment.
• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and emergency response protocols.
