Full-time, travel position with 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess and address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on health management and treatment plans.
• Make appropriate clinical decisions and delegate tasks as needed to care team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Valid RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing specialty preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with general med-surg and telemetry units.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
