- Full-time, day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and run HDR brachytherapy units, including assisting with implants and procedures
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and assist in therapy planning within a Radiation Oncology setting
- Complete Radiation Safety exams within the first week of employment
- Support daily patient caseload of 8-15 in a procedure-based department
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and maintain compliance with safety and licensing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Certified Radiation Therapist or Chemist (ARRT or ARRT (T))
- Valid state licensure in Missouri or a compact license
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in radiation therapy or brachytherapy
- Ability to complete the Radiation Safety exam within initial week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with brachytherapy procedures and HDR units
- EPIC electronic charting system experience
- Sensitivity training related to radiation therapy practices
