Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 6:1 during night shifts
- Monitor and document patient conditions using EMR systems such as Meditech
- Perform assessments, medication administration, and assist with procedures as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies and unit-specific guidelines, including dress code in navy blue scrubs with logo
- Maintain compliance with BLS and ACLS certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Hospital experience preferred, with at least 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and use of vital sign and bladder scanner equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to feedback positively
