Job Title

• Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and fluoroscopy using O/C-Arm equipment
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to radiation safety protocols, including wearing radiation badges provided by the agency
• Work within scope of practice, floating to other buildings on the same campus as needed
• Participate in call rotation of 3-4 days per month
• Coordinate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate imaging documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology or X-ray tech experience
• Valid ARRT (R) or SCRQSA (R) certification/license
• BLS certification required
• Must supply a radiation badge from the agency (MUSC does not provide)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel or hospital experience preferred
• Strong O/C-Arm operation skills

Additional Details

• Travel compliance and RTO rules apply; RTO requests must be included at submission
• Locals considered at a reduced rate; radius is 60 miles
• Shifts are nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with parking available on nights and weekends for a small fee
• Hurricane season may require emergency response duties from June through November
• All travelers must adhere to hospital modules, approximately 4 hours before starting shift
