Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical and trauma patients on a busy inpatient unit
• Perform post-op assessments and monitor patient recovery, including joint replacements and trauma cases
• Administer medications, document patient progress in Meditech, and coordinate with the healthcare team
• Support patient bedside reporting and hourly rounding to ensure optimal patient experience
• Float to other MedSurg units such as General Med/Surg, Nephrology, or Neuro/Trauma as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain compliance with unit-specific procedures and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Missouri
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a MedSurg or related setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Orthopedic surgical experience, including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements
• Telemetry skills or NIH stroke certification
• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or Comprehensive Stroke Center
