Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging and diagnostic procedures in OB/GYN, abdomen, neurosonology, and ophthalmology specialties.
- Apply sonic energy techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment under the guidance of licensed practitioners.
- Demonstrate understanding of anatomical structures for interpretation and intervention.
- Exercise professional judgment to ensure accurate and effective patient care during procedures.
- Maintain compliance with medical ethics and standards of care.
- Recognize patient conditions relevant to the successful completion of ultrasound procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited sonography program (CAHEA or equivalent).
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or an approved equivalent.
- Licensed in the State of Oregon as an Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience performing ultrasound procedures in OB/GYN, abdomen, or neurosonology.
- Familiarity with imaging equipment and patient positioning.
