Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging and diagnostic procedures in OB/GYN, abdomen, neurosonology, and ophthalmology specialties.
• Apply sonic energy techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment under the guidance of licensed practitioners.
• Demonstrate understanding of anatomical structures for interpretation and intervention.
• Exercise professional judgment to ensure accurate and effective patient care during procedures.
• Maintain compliance with medical ethics and standards of care.
• Recognize patient conditions relevant to the successful completion of ultrasound procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program (CAHEA or equivalent).
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or an approved equivalent.
• Licensed in the State of Oregon as an Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience performing ultrasound procedures in OB/GYN, abdomen, or neurosonology.
• Familiarity with imaging equipment and patient positioning.
