Key Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to patients with various conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and amputation.
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and update care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately using Meditech system.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and equipment operation standards.
• Support patients and families with education and emotional well-being throughout the recovery process.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in rehab or med-surg settings.
• Strong procedural skills and ability to work with specialized equipment such as IV pumps and specialty beds.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and coordinate with team members efficiently.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation units or with CARF and Joint Commission standards.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
