Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units within a short-term acute care hospital
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Monitor patient status, including cardiac drips, and respond to changes promptly
• Document care using EPIC electronic charting system
• Float within scope to all three hospital campuses (Martin North, South, Tradition) as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies including timely completion of modules and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU, with ICU experience preferred
• Active licenses with pending acceptance allowed
• Valid American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current at submission)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)
• Ability to float across units and hospitals within scope
• Must be Nicotine-free with a negative 10-panel drug screen (cotinine test), completed within 12 months of start
• Must be willing to work nights (18:45 - 07:15) and adhere to strict compliance policies

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Epic Electronic Medical Record experience (must be a 3 or 4)
• Familiarity with cardiac drips and cardiac care protocols
