Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, including those receiving chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapy.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias, and respond to emergencies accordingly.
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage central and peripheral lines, including PICC lines.
• Care for patients undergoing complex procedures such as autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes and compliance with safety standards.
• Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Oncology units, including telemetry monitoring.
• Chemo certification is not required but preferred.
• BLS certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification.
• Experience administering blood products, managing central lines, and caring for transplant patients.
• Ability to interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and respond appropriately.
