Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location: Kansas City, KS
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, including holiday on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for cardiac surgeries in a CVOR setting within a level 1 trauma center.
• Perform circulating and scrubbing duties, ensuring patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams, including physicians and anesthesiologists, to coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and manage patient needs in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Cover floating assignments as required in various perioperative areas such as Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD.
• Support on-call rotation, including about one weekend per month, and work during scheduled holidays.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of recent CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center.
• Strong scrub and circulating experience in cardiac surgeries.
• Kansas RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work in multiple surgical environments, including Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working on-call and during holidays.
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments across different perioperative units.
