Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide adult critical care respiratory therapy including ventilator management, extubation, and airway placements.
• Perform suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, and sputum specimen collection.
• Administer inhaled medications such as albuterol, Atrovent, flovent, and others via aerosol and trach setups.
• Manage high flow nasal cannula, trach collar oxygen therapy, BiPAP, and CPAP systems, including troubleshooting alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through tracheostomy care and airway management.
• Document patient interventions accurately in electronic medical records, with EPIC experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapy License in South Carolina (RRT).
• Minimum 2 years of adult critical care experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Proficiency in adult critical care procedures, medication administration via aerosol, and mechanical ventilation management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level 1 critical care experience.
• Experience with floating to different units and campuses within a hospital system.
• Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical records.
