Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients in a CVOR setting.
• Scrub and circulate during cardiovascular and open-heart procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintain compliance with hospital standards.
• Assist with patient assessment and monitoring using advanced medical equipment, including Epic EMR systems.
• Be flexible to float to other OR suites such as Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, etc., when needed.
• Participate in bi-weekly orientations and maintain current certifications and licensure.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with the ability to start within the next 2 weeks.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience with high competency in Cardio Vascular / Open Heart surgeries.
• Prior travel experience preferred, with general OR experience at large, academic, or teaching hospitals.
• BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR (within the past 2 years) is mandatory.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and call rotations, with flexibility to meet patient care needs.
• Reliable transportation, with vehicle equipped for winter months if applicable.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating and scrubbing in a high-volume CVOR environment.
• Comfortable floating between various OR specialties when necessary.
