Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and X-ray procedures independently in an orthopedic hospital setting.
- Operate Siemens imaging equipment and ensure high-quality imaging for a variety of patient populations, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Manage low-volume caseloads, with up to 20 patients daily, across inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Assist with portable imaging across multiple departments and private sector locations.
- Adhere to all safety and certification requirements, including IV certification and NYS licensure.
- Support patient care through proper positioning, imaging, and documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NY State license and ARRT certifications in R & CT.
- IV Certification (mandatory) at the time of application.
- 2+ years of relevant imaging experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Proficiency in performing extremity, spine/pelvis, head, chest, musculoskeletal, and specialized CT procedures.
- Comfortable working night shifts and independently managing low-volume caseloads.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment exceeding 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience operating Siemens CT equipment.
- Epic EMR system knowledge.
- Experience with pediatrics, ER, ICU, and portable imaging procedures.
- EKG testing completed within 72 hours of onboarding.
