• Full-time, 3x12 Night shifts (18:45 – 07:15)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Level I Trauma acute care hospital.
• Float within scope to MedSurg and similar units as needed to meet facility requirements.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and respond to Rapid Response Team calls.
• Manage post-angiogram, post-MI, and other cardiovascular cases.
• Administer IV therapies, including blood products, insulin, and medications such as Heparin and PCA.
• Perform wound care, manage drains, and support patients with respiratory devices like CPAP and BiPAP.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 18 months RN experience, preferably in MedSurg.
• Current BLS and NIH certifications.
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Must be able to complete compliance requirements on time, including background check, fingerprinting, and license verification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry/remote monitoring.
• Cardiac, neurological, and ortho trauma care experience.
• IV therapy, including PICC line management and blood draws.
• Experience with wound vacs and infection precautions.
• Cerner EMR system knowledge.
