Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts (Days or Nights), rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit at a leading hospital facility.
• Adhere to established clinical protocols while performing assessments, administering medications, and monitoring patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all care activities accurately within electronic medical records.
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety and procedural policies.
• Work at least every other holiday as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment.
• Recent experience (minimum 18 months) in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry; travel experience is acceptable.
• Valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Successful completion of ECG Rhythm Recognition test and SafeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores.
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and work at least every other holiday.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital setting within a large health system.
• Previous experience with electronic medical records systems such as Qualivis Lotus.
• Knowledge of ECG rhythm identification and medication safety procedures.

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a valid Ohio or compact license, active certifications, and complete all compliance requirements including background checks and module training prior to start.
• Travel compliance documentation and references from supervisors are required for submission.
• This is a temporary travel assignment with rotation shifts, working 36 hours per week.
• Strict adherence to facility policies and safety protocols, including nicotine testing exemptions for nurses.
