Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift; 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU at a major hospital.
• Monitor patient recovery, vital signs, and overall condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and efficient patient flow.
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Manage patient care for CABG, AAA repair, TAV R, EVAR, Fem-Pop/Fem-Tib-Peroneal Bypass, Angiogram, Pulmonary decortication, and Ablation procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state license in hand at time of submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with Pre/Post-operative care and Epic electronic medical record system.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Must be willing to work night shifts, including weekends and on-call hours.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Level 1 trauma or outpatient settings.
• PACU or post-anesthesia care experience.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience.

Travel and Credentialing Notes

• Strict adherence to Ohio fingerprinting and credentialing process required prior to start date.
• Candidates outside Ohio within driving distance must complete fingerprinting locally; those farther will receive a fingerprinting packet.
• All candidates must respond promptly to credentialing requests; unresponsive candidates risk cancellation.
• RTO (Request for Time Off) must be built into contract.
• References: Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director.
• Local candidates are welcome; no change in pay rate.

Additional Requirements

• All candidates must be prepared to complete fingerprinting immediately after signing.
• No coworker references accepted; former employees eligible after 6 months away.
