Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures within the operating room.
- Prepare surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Support surgical team during various types of surgeries, including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR.
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with surgical staff to facilitate efficient workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical tech role.
- Certification in surgical technology or equivalent.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
- Familiarity with operating room procedures and sterile techniques.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in cardiac surgery units, specifically CVOR.
- Knowledge of Meditech EMR system.
- Confident and team-oriented personality.
- Prior experience supporting high-acuity procedures like ECMO programs is a plus.
