Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours), weekdays, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with occasional flexibility to 4th shift and optional EOW coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care to maternity patients with a focus on Maternal/Baby care
- Monitor labor progress and assist with deliveries in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and recovery
- Document patient information accurately in hospital charting systems
- Float within hospital departments as needed, following hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant labor and delivery nursing experience
- Active or pending state RN license with clear ETA
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (via AHA), NRP required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adhere to hospital protocols
- Must include a current NURSYS report and Qualivis Cover Sheet in application
- All RTO (Request for Time Off) must be communicated and included in profile
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience with Meditech charting systems not required
- Previous experience with float assignments within hospital settings
