Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on outpatients, inpatients, and urgent care patients, ensuring high-quality images for clinical evaluation.
- Operate a variety of imaging equipment including GE mobile units, c-arms (OEC, Phillips, Siemens), and mini c-arms (FluoroScan, OEC) in different settings such as the OR, PACU, and urgent care.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and follow provider specifications during procedures.
- Implement radiation safety practices and conduct proper radiation protection.
- Navigate and document via electronic medical records systems including EPIC “Radiant” and Sectra PACS.
- Support additional departmental duties and float to other units such as orthopedics and urgent care as needed.
- Maintain adherence to department protocols, policies, and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent relevant radiologic technologist experience.
- Active ND state license (NDMIRT) or willingness to apply upon acceptance.
- ARRT certification in good standing.
- Experience with GE mobile units, OR and PACU mobile x-ray procedures, and a variety of c-arms including OEC, Phillips, and Siemens.
- BLS certification from AHA.
- Ability to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced, multi-urgent care environment.
- Excellent patient care, positioning, and safety practices.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and digital imaging systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in orthopedic or sports medicine hospital settings.
- Familiarity with Carestream Ascend, Phillips general room with Carestream DRX, and other advanced imaging equipment.
- Ability to work independently during after-hours shifts with support from on-call staff.
- Prior experience with float assignments across different departments.
