• Travel, 13-week duration, Nights shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to surgical and medical patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Perform procedures including starting IVs, basic wound care, maintaining surgical drains, managing tubes such as NG, chest, and feeding tubes.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure safety and comfort for all patients through proper use of equipment such as IV Pumps, Telemetry, and EKG machines.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain compliance with certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience, including post-op care.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
• Familiarity with hospital technology including IV pumps, telemetry, and pulse oximeters.
• Proven ability to provide bedside care and foster a patient-centered environment.

• Dress Code: Navy scrubs, tops and bottoms
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, including weekends as per rotation
• Floating policy: Contract staff first to float, following rotation
