Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a 12-bed medical-surgical unit with a patient ratio of 5-6:1.
• Administer treatments, medications, and procedures according to hospital protocols.
• Document patient care in the Meditech system accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with a team-oriented and compassionate approach to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including dress code and floating policies.
• Participate in scheduled weekend shifts and adhere to unit-specific guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible scheduling
• Strong team-oriented and compassionate attitude
• Proficiency in general med-surg procedures
• Certification as required by hospital policy

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Knowledge of hospital-specific policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to new technology and equipment
