• Full-time, travel assignment
• 13-week duration, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Shifts are on days, with 3 shifts per week, including rotations for weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Monitor patient health, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures such as IV therapy and catheter management
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including clinicians, case management, PCTs, and unit secretaries, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system
• Participate in unit-specific policies, guidelines, and hospital safety practices
• Maintain patient communication, ensuring 72% patient experience scores through effective communication boards and compassionate care

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience, including familiarity with respiratory, renal, GI illnesses, and procedural skills such as CVC management and Heparin Gtts
• Strong teamwork, communication, compassion, and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced medical surgical patient populations and complex care needs
• Comfort with utilizing new equipment and technology in a fast-paced hospital environment
