- Rotating shifts / Variable hours, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound services, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress tests for adult patients
- Prepare and verify equipment, prep patients, and explain procedures clearly
- Review and analyze imaging results, report findings, and evaluate patient history to aid in diagnosis
- Collaborate with healthcare team to frame clinical questions and expand examinations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program or equivalent work experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Less than 1 year of related ultrasound experience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardio Credentialing International (CCI) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS at time of hire/transfer
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms preferred
- Strong understanding of cardiac ultrasound procedures and interpretation
