Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive ICU nursing care to critically ill patients within a 4-bed unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications including IV paralytics, sedation, and vasoactive infusions.
• Manage multiple systems including IV therapy (arterial lines, PICC, central lines) and ventilator care.
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube management and airway management (BiPAP, CPAP, suctioning).
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention, isolation precautions, and use of PPE.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Valid Illinois nursing license in hand.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management.
• Proficiency in IV therapy, including arterial lines and medication titration.
• Ability to manage ventilated patients and perform advanced airway procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Cerner charting system.
• Knowledge of surgical wounds and wound management.
• Prior experience in a Critical Access or Magnet hospital setting.

Additional Notes
• Shifts are nights, 12 hours each, with a schedule of three shifts per week.
• Candidates must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• RTO requests of up to 5 days are generally approved; more requires facility approval.
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Travel compliance and licensing requirements are essential; candidates must arrive prepared.
• No on-call required.
