Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to acute care patients across various diagnoses, including ICU, stroke, neurological, orthopedic, and general debility.
• Support patient treatment plans according to physician orders in a hospital setting.
• Utilize electronic health record systems to document patient progress and treatment details.
• Support a fast-paced acute care environment with a variety of medical and surgical cases.
• Play a key role in patient recovery and rehabilitation in collaboration with medical staff.
• Work scheduled weekend shifts and participate in holiday coverage as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid GA Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with Cerner electronic charting system
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience supporting acute care patients in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with ICU, neurological, and surgical patient care
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
