• Rotating shifts, 12-hour nights and days

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit at a leading hospital facility.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs, including ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Document patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Comply with all hospital policies, safety standards, and shift requirements, including working at least every other holiday.
• Complete orientation assessments such as ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate.
• Maintain active licensure, certifications, and required training to meet hospital standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment.
• Recent 18 months of MS/Tele experience, including travel experience.
• Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Active American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Compliance with background check and drug screening policies, including nicotine testing (for non-nurses/CSTs).
• Completion of mandatory modules via Silkroad prior to start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital setting with rotating shifts.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health records and compliance procedures.
• Strong assessment skills in telemetry monitoring and patient documentation.
