• 4x12 Night shifts (18:45 - 06:45), 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a 38-bed Medical Surgical unit.
• Float within hospital departments as needed to meet patient care demands.
• Administer IV therapies, including PICC line management and starting IVs.
• Utilize Cerner charting system to document patient care effectively.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, including telemetry, if experienced.
• Work every third weekend shift to ensure continuous patient coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years' recent Medical-Surgical RN experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends.
• Strong IV therapy and phlebotomy skills, including PICC line management.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred.
• Must have no more than 5 days of RTO requests; RTO must be approved if longer.
• Willing to float within scope, across Medical-Surgical departments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience preferred.
• Previous travel or acute care hospital experience beneficial.
• Cerner charting proficiency.
• Experience with Red Cross or AHA certifications; RQI cards not accepted.
