Contract, 13-week duration, nights shift, 4x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical setting, with potential oncology experience preferred but not required.
• Administer medications, IV starts, and treatments, adhering to facility protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and document accurately in electronic medical records (Cerner).
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care and ensure safety.
• Maintain compliance with all certification requirements and facility policies.
• Cover shifts on weekdays and every other weekend, ensuring scheduled staffing needs are met.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (WV or Compact, pending acceptable).
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications via American Heart Association.
• Minimum of one year recent work history with references.
• Ability to start IVs and handle adult patient care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology experience (preferred but not required).
• ONS chemo/bio certification (preferred).
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
