- Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR)

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 1830-0700)
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub for cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and trauma procedures
- Assist with CVOR surgeries such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, etc.
- Reprocess cardiovascular and thoracic instruments ensuring aseptic technique
- Maintain proper equipment documentation and charting using EPIC system
- Provide intraoperative support as a scrub and circulating team member
- Support crash cart readiness and emergency procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years CST experience with scrub proficiency
- At least 2+ years in cardiac and vascular surgery
- 1+ year CVOR experience in a Level I Trauma facility
- Certified Surgical Technology (CST) certification
- BLS certification
- Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic instruments and procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Ability to handle urgent and complex surgical cases under aseptic conditions

Additional Notes
- Strict adherence to Ohio fingerprinting process and compliance deadlines required
- RTO (time off) must be included with submission and built into the contract
- Candidates outside Ohio within driving distance must complete fingerprinting in Ohio promptly; remote candidates will receive a fingerprinting packet
- References: 2 professional references, including at least 1 supervisor or leadership contact; former employees eligible after 6 months of absence
- RNs must hold a valid compact or Ohio license at submission; MRI techs may submit without Ohio licensure but must meet other qualifications
