Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Morgantown, WV
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 4 nights per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care using Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement patient care plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Follow facility protocols to maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
• Adhere to scheduled shift hours and comply with attendance policies.
• Complete required certifications and training modules prior to start date.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license (WV or Compact, pending acceptable)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH if applicable, via American Heart Association
• Current managed references from recent supervisors within the past 2 years
• Ability to work night shift and adhere to scheduled hours with minimal call-offs (max 2-3 per contract)
• Compliance with travel and background screening policies, including SSN and DOB inclusion on application

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior travel nursing experience (not required)
• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Familiarity with high-acuity medical-surgical patient care
