• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients of all ages.
• Follow physician’s orders, standards of care, and hospital policies to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Support patients and their families through assessment, planning, and execution of care plans.
• Maintain professional certifications and adhere to healthcare regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, specialists, and support staff.

Required Qualifications

• Current valid RN license (state of Arizona or any other state accepted)
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification within one year of hire
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within one year of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification completed within 6 months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 proficiency within three months of hire
• Patient Sitter Competency Training (upon hire)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous ER nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with emphasis on patient support.
