- Full-time, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain ethical standards in accordance with professional code of ethics and agency policies.
- Collaborate effectively with the agency team and participate in weekly clinical and staff meetings.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and reports.
- Provide comprehensive mental health and substance abuse assessment, outpatient services, crisis intervention, and aftercare in line with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage a caseload delivering individual, group, and family counseling/therapy services.
- Participate in community needs assessments and provide consultation to staff and community agencies.
- Represent the organization professionally within the community.
- Coordinate treatment activities with relevant departments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
- Contribute to a 24/7 on-call rotation for crisis support.
- Advocate for clients' needs both within and outside the organization.
- Foster effective communication and strong working relationships with colleagues and community partners.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a mental health counselor, therapist, or related profession.
- Experience providing mental health assessments and crisis intervention.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to mental health services.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in community mental health settings.
- Familiarity with substance abuse counseling.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
