Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical standards in accordance with professional code of ethics and agency policies.
• Collaborate effectively with the agency team and participate in weekly clinical and staff meetings.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and reports.
• Provide comprehensive mental health and substance abuse assessment, outpatient services, crisis intervention, and aftercare in line with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage a caseload delivering individual, group, and family counseling/therapy services.
• Participate in community needs assessments and provide consultation to staff and community agencies.
• Represent the organization professionally within the community.
• Coordinate treatment activities with relevant departments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
• Contribute to a 24/7 on-call rotation for crisis support.
• Advocate for clients' needs both within and outside the organization.
• Foster effective communication and strong working relationships with colleagues and community partners.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a mental health counselor, therapist, or related profession.
• Experience providing mental health assessments and crisis intervention.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to mental health services.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in community mental health settings.
• Familiarity with substance abuse counseling.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
