Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 32-bed adult/older adult medical-surgical/telemetry unit.
• Monitor trauma patients, administer acute medications including Heparin drips, and follow physician orders.
• Document patient progress thoroughly using the Epic EMR system.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and PT equipment.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Documented medical-surgical and telemetry experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior NICHE training or geriatric nursing experience.
• Skills in handling trauma and acute medication management.
• Experience working in a hospital setting with adult and older adult populations.
