Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to cardiac and neuro ICU patients in a busy teaching hospital.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond to emergencies within the CVICU.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float within scope to all three hospital locations as needed to meet facility demands.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months ICU experience; 2 years preferred.
• Proficiency with cardiac and neuro patient care.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current at time of submission).
• NIHSS certification required prior to start.
• Epic experience at a level 3 or 4.
• Valid RN license for Florida or applicable state.
• Nicotine-free with proof of negative drug screen within 12 months.
• Ability to commit to night shift schedule.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a teaching hospital setting.
• Ability to quickly prioritize time-sensitive modules during orientation.
