Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 12-hour day/night shifts, including every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and care planning with outcome-based interventions
• Perform specialized procedures such as intubation, spinal taps, PICC line placement, IV starts, and admissions
• Utilize equipment including ventilators, nitric oxide, MedFusion pumps, and Epic charting systems
• Monitor and care for neonates with complex needs, including assessment of infant status and medication administration
• Float to PICU and PEDS units as needed, providing consistent high-quality care across departments

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license for North Dakota and willingness to obtain a Compact license if applicable
• 2+ years of neonatal nursing experience
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Active NRP certification
• Ability to perform neonatal assessments and care for IV lines, G-tubes, CPAP, and respiratory support

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic (OneChart) electronic medical records
• Prior Level III NICU experience
• Familiarity with equipment such as Draeger ventilators, high-frequency jet and oscillator ventilators, nitric oxide, and medical pumps
• Ability to float between units including PICU and PEDS
