Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit
- Recognize and respond to patient vital signs and ECG rhythms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
- Active Ohio or Compact State RN license in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience with Cleveland Clinic or similar healthcare institutions
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of unit-specific protocols and electronic medical records systems
