Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a hospital emergency department
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies promptly
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license and state licensure
- 3-5 years of experience in an emergency room setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a critical access hospital or small healthcare facility
- Bilingual abilities or strong communication skills
- Knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures
