Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, contract, 4 shifts per week, days, 10-hour shifts, on-call as required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology and special procedures.
- Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient condition, recognize changes, and report any concerns promptly.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, care, and expectations.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Proficiency in moderate sedation administration
- Experience in interventional radiology or similar clinical settings preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in cardiac, ICU, or step-down units
- Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular and radiology procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
