Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (every other weekend)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized telemetry nursing care for cardiac patients, including titrating drips and managing patients post or pre-cardiac catheterization.
• Float within the hospital to various units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and competence across departments.
• Ensure accurate documentation using Cerner electronic charting system.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including proper scrubs and PPE usage.
• Maintain compliance with hospital and department policies, including timely completion of all required training modules and certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Missouri RN license or Compact license at time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of telemetry experience, including cardiac drips and post- or pre-cath patient management.
• Cerner electronic charting system experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA), CPI, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass an EKG rhythm exam with 80% or higher on orientation day.
• Must be willing to float within the hospital.
• Must pass background check as per client requirements.
• Compliance with COVID-19 patient care policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification is preferred.
• Experience with stroke patient care and related CEUs.
• Familiarity with sheaths, cardiac procedures, and related therapies.
